Passing Lane Films’ producers Helen Straight and Drew Tidwell (pictured above, right), CEI executive producer Richard Morrison (above, left), and I attended the black tie affair at the Aurora Cineplex. Festival director Stephen Sherwood has created a filmmaker’s heaven with the Southern Shorts Awards. The judges’ scoring notes were incredibly welcome feedback and we were thrilled I, Whiskey won in its second film festival, just 3 months since debut.
Next month, we’re on the road again to Oxford Film Fest in Mississippi. Fingers crossed!
