Amanda France is director of events at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. As producer of the I, Pencil film series, she managed the educational campaign for I, Pencil: The Movie and the crowdfunding campaign and release of I, Whiskey: The Human Spirit. In January 2014, France helped launch CEI’s nationally syndicated radio program, RealClear Radio Hour with Bill Frezza, and produced the show throughout its three years on air.

France started at CEI in 2009 as executive assistant to CEI founder Fred L. Smith, Jr. Before joining CEI, she received her Bachelors in Political Science and Economics from the University of Southern California and worked for several years in Hollywood at an independent production company and the publishing house TASCHEN America.
