U.S. Coal Pitch Draws Immediate Blowback in Bonn

Politico cited the Competitive Enterprise Institute on its role of trying to publicize records relating to the misclassification of the Paris climate agreement as not a treaty. 

The Competitive Enterprise Institute filed a lawsuit Monday seeking records during the Obama administration from two State Department aides — Trigg Talley and Alexandra Costello — related to the decision not to classify the Paris climate agreement as a treaty, which would have required Senate ratification. Talley is part of this year’s State Department delegation to Bonn. Link to the lawsuit here.
